History

It all began in 1957 with the first International Race on the Zeltweg Airforce Base.

Jack Brabham wins the Austrian GP in 1963

From 1969 until 1995 the track was officially known as the Österreichring.

Jacky Ickx wins the Austrian GP in 1970

Between 1996 and 2003 the, now completely renovated, circuit was renamed A1-Ring.

Michael Schumacher wins the Austrian GP in 2003

From 2011 onwards we all know the circuit as the Red Bull Ring.

In the paddock, there is the "Bull's Lane", that will be open between 11 AM and 6 PM.

A buffet is provided from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Don't forget

• Car that is technically 100% fit
• cleaned on the outside (pictures)

• reasonable "fresh" tires
• brake pads with some "margin" - in doubt bring extra pads with you, we can mount them for you
• towing eye (has to be mounted before going on track)

• Identity card | Driving licence
• Positive attitude, discipline, good fellowship, a fit body in a clear mindset

• With WHEELTORQUE, the Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance is included in your enrolment price since years;
• Some circuits require a license. The only reason for this is that there is a TPL insurance included in it;
• Because we provide for all participants - included in the price - such a TPL insurance, a license is not requested during our events and yet you are fully okay.
